Random Randomness

I feel as if I am coming along well with my embroidery and research. I am trying to practice working on velvet and having trouble getting the design onto the velvet. I tried putting a bit of tearaway interfacing on the back and stitching with a running stitch over the design. Problem was that you could not really see the stitching through the ( Read more... )

erasing huge bits of print that I have typed, or the cursor will magically insert itself in a different place on the page, so I start typing in the wrong line. Not sure why this keeps happening, but I just lost an entire bit about the pastry that I made the other day, which was definitely the best I have ever made.

Do you have one of those mousepads? If so, THATS why the cursor keeps moving in random ways. The slightest touch will get it to move.

If text DOES disappear, before you press any other button, press CTRL and Z together - it will then undo previous action which should bring back all your text.

It happens all the time with my laptops - personal and work one.

Hm. Yeah, I have a little slidey pad on my laptop, and though the kids have suggested this as a possible cause of my problems, I have resisted believing it is because I am doing anything. I suppose that they, and you, are right and I am breathing on it wrong.

Thanks for the CTRL+Z hint. I will definitely keep that in mind!
