V&A pics finished, waiting for approval from the powers that be...

I have completed the page with the photos from my V&A trip and have submitted it to the V&A for approval. Hopefully they will come back and allow me to post these images so that others can study them and learn more about the styles and techniques used in Elizabethan and Jacobean embroidery

Well, it has not been officially told to us, but we both know because...well, both of them put it up on facebook! He is coming here from Brazil next month to make it official (cough), but I would say that the cat is out of the bag.

yeah, ha ha, his mom has summoned her to Miami next week. {apparently mom has facebook, and what do you know, she noted the change in her son's relationship status. Who would have though it?} She e-mailed Shevy on facebook and asked for her e-mail so she could send the ticket confirmation info! Apparently mom is happy that her son is happy, so all is good. His dad already loves Shevaun, as does his sister, so she has definitely got a good family vibe going on there.

I got my first 'what you have to do to forfil our copyright' email - from Minneapolis Museum today - and feeling a bit intimidated. Especially since they didn't read what I was doing, and I have to get further special permission because the image is chopped.

I hope you find another lovely condo. From England to Florida. Wow.
