I'm sitting at my desk listening to the sound of paws scratching the kitchen tiled floor. My cat only makes an attempt (and always a fervant one, too) to "cover up" her food and disguise it from other imaginary cats when it was canned wet food with chunky meat. haha oddly enough I witnessed my new kitten doing this very thing when I fed him this morning! At first I thought he had an accident and was trying to cover it up but upon further inspection I saw he was just trying to kick imaginary sand over his food. lol

i know, i especially love how she only does it after she eats a meal that she likes (namely wet canned food). my old cat used to just do it after every meal.
