i'm almost looking forward to the first time i fall off, just so i can get it over with.
then again, i probably will be on some quiet residential street when it happens too, city ridin' is still so foriegn to me. you'll see what i mean when you're here....
I'm glad you're ok! I feel like I'm seeing more and more people out riding their bikes, which is great, but I also have heard more and more bad things said about people on bikes. One lady was even saying those people should have to buy stickers and pay property taxes like the rest of us! HUMPH!

yeah, falling does not feel good. I haven't had the pleasure of falling in a metropolis, but have fallen twice recently on my new bike (with the new clip pedals) out on indiana country roads. My dad said, usually people have a couple initial falls before getting used to them, you just hope they're nothing major. and I was all, ho-no! that won't happen to me! And on my first two rides, I came to almost a complete stop and was like "oh shit forgot about the..CRASH..pedals." On my left side each time. nothing major, couple badges-of-honor on me and a few more on my bike. Last week I did the western michigan shorline ride with my dad (just a couple days worth, not the whole week. next year, perhaps) and no more falling! twas awesome.
I just friended you. I hope you don't mind. If you're uncomfortable with that, you can tell me; I won't think less of you. I've been suspecting I knew you for a while. It was confirmed today. I was rememinded what a smart cookie you are. Not sure if you remember me.
