So I looked it up on the internet myself cause I didn't believe about the whole drinking and kidney problem things. and Yeah that could be a cause... COULD be.

Lol it probably was one of the causes.

So I think I am going to Mexico this weekend with him and his two friends.

most likely your kidneys are messed up cuz of the drinking. but it is aggravated by lack of vitamins and dehydration. if you do drink, stay very hydrated and it will help. when i was in scotland, i was drinking so much, but the air was so moist up there, i didn't feel dehydrated, and a lot of the time my right kidney hurt. in AZ, it is so dry, i constatnly am thirsty, so i never have any kidney problems. it took a while to notice it over the years, but when i drink too much alcohol and not enough water, my right kidney will hurt. but i could still drink alcohol as long as i drink enough water to make up for it. so just remember to drink an equal part water to every part alcohol you drink. and take your vitamin C!
