I think they're looking at May-June for my replacement, though I'm leaving at the end of this month.
But yeah, it does definitely require a car. There is *no* public transportation that runs out that far (well, there's commuter buses, but they run the opposite direction--into the city in the morning and out to the burbs in the evening). Having to have a car was one of the things that I hated about it. :-(
Gaahhhh I thought your job was full time! Health insurance is a definite plus, though, at least. But as much as I need it, moving across state for a job that isn't fully full-time won't do me much good. Agh.
Well, it is only 5 hours short of full-time (though there may be the possibility of negotiating those extra five hours--I started at 30 hours and they bumped me up to 35, so maybe they'd be willing to go up to 40 for the right person), and at $22/hour, it pays like a full time job (I'm actually not going to be making any more $ at my new job!) But yeah, it is a lot of work for not-quite-full-time.

It sounds like something that requires a car. Does it or is public transport an option?
