Dad got the the hospitol before Jeff. Jeff took his motorcycle instead of his car because it was rush hour traffic, and of course, knowing his son was paralyzed in a hospitol, he wasnt exactly abiding by the rules of the road.... he got pulled over on the interstate going 150 in a 65.... and the Cop didnt belive his story about his son being in

so far, sounds like he will recover. hopefuly he will. and dad is lucky he didn't get hurt rushing to his son...although i COMPLETLLY understand...*shakes head....my thoughts are still with them all

About Jeff....i would have completely lost it with the cop! Naturally as a female i'd of been crying hysterically. When they called me about D being in the hospital i just turned on my hazards and went about 90 down 90! Everyone pretty much got out of my way and i didnt see any cops! Those kinds of situations are really hard!

i dont think its uncommon at all for accidents to happen on people's way to the hopsital when they get that call. i think the hospital ppl should always ask if they're alone. that way, someone could drive them...
i know my ex bf's grandma got a call one time. they asked her if she was joyce alexander. and if she knew edward alexander. after confirming both, they told her she needed to come down to the hospital and identify him. he was found dead that morning. THAT was crazy. she ended up having to call her other son to come get her. could you imagine being old and gettin a call like that?!
the only time i've rushed to the ER is when my brother had his accident this past feb. but we were rushing him. well. i was somewhere behind my aunt, who had him. but still. i guess thats almost kinda the same as gettin a phone call. that day was scary. ...
