The hardest goodbye

Feb 06, 2007 06:46

Goodbye my best mate. I'll always hold you tight in my heart. I know there's no more pain for you and I hope you have a million balls to chase and catch in that big dog park in the sky. Thankyou for your loyalty and unconditional love. I love you Riki-Lee, my special girl!

thanx for txting such thoughtfull words. I'm starting to get life going, finding a new routine with just mil and I. Taking a break from wires so she gets full attention. omg pumpkin, you should see the way mil looks at where riks bed used to be. She actually cries! so we have "sads". Moments when the reality hits you and the deep uncontrolable sobbing happens. But that's heathly grieving, which is far better than busting and going deeper into depression. But it aint fun :( Grief is a tough battle I tells ya!

ditto ;)

hey, how much did ya titty job cost? I'm looking at it seriously to save my back. All I know is that it's cheaper if you get a dr. to say you need it. Is that right?

how is ya manly chest going?

It's always hard when we lose a friend, however many legs they may have walked upon.

OMG hun I am so sorry for your loss. I know that losing a dog is rough. We lost 2 to old age this year :( At least she's out of pain. Take comfort in that. Big Hugs.

sorry, only just starting to get to all my LJ comments. I'm in the same boat, our family dog (14 yr old maltese terror) died 2 weeks to the day before riki-lee. They both shared the same birthday too, so I know they're up there back as their young selves causing mischief :)
I'm the one that was blessed to have the honour of owning such a special dog! I dunno about an all seeing all doing god, but I believe every living creature has a soul, and I cant wait to connect to it again someday. You know what it's like, they'll always hold a special place in your heart!
Now it's re-adjustment time with Millie learning her new status as undisputed top dog. She's taking it in her stride ;)

Aww.. hey sweetie. How are you doing? I hope you and your mum are well. You'll see her again one day on another plain of existence. I bet Millie is doing really well with you to guide her through her loss.

Take care, keep your head up :X
*hugs*
