What Taemin doesn't realize

Taemin lazily lols his head to side, letting his head fall on Jonghyun's shoulder. Jonghyun wraps his arms around Taemin's waist and tilts his head slightly to kiss Taemin's hair, sighing contentedly before taking a long drag of his cigarette. They were on a rooftop, the sky a pretty orange color. The sun was about to set. Students and workers bustling around, trying to get home before the sky turns dark. Taemin watches as a teen came up to kiss a boy on his cheek.
"Hey, Jjong."
"Hmm."
"I'm sorry."
Jonghyun laughs and takes his cigarette between his lips, just before Taemin snatches it from him and throwing it away, mumbling something about smoking not being good for his health and ignoring Jonghyun's squeak of protest. He blows the puff of smoke on Taemin's face playfully instead.
"For what? For making me the happiest man alive?"
"For.. You know.. everything."
"What?"
"I'm serious."
Jonghyun sighs and sits up straight, taking the younger boy's face in his hands, smiling at him before kissing his nose. "I am too.", Jonghyun says. Running a thumb over Taemin's cheek lovingly and staring straight into his eyes. Taemin was silenced. He didn't have the will to look away from such a beautiful sight. "You don't have anything to be sorry for. You love me, and that's enough. Even if we fight, even if you're a slut--", Taemin makes a sound of disapproval and Jonghyun shushes him, "I understand that. It's not your fault. I'm not by your side when I should be. You're forgiven, Tae. I love you. I have so much to thank you for. You never get tired of me. I ignore you at times, but you'll still be waiting for me when I get home. Sprawled on the couch, sleeping. Even if you do have drool all over your cheek at times, I still love staring at your face while you sleep. I love you. I love you so much. If anyone should be apologizing, it should be me. So yeah, I'm sorry."
Taemin blinks at Jonghyun, "Wow."
Jonghyun sighs again and leans in to brush his lips against Taemin. "You're an idiot."
"I love you too, you know. So much."
"I know."
