Eight days left before school starts. Not ready to go back. Kind of cool though...some other students and I were asked to go to the new nursing building to take pictures and videos of us doing "nursing stuff" for the newspapers and news stations. That's pretty exciting to be a part of

Even with Iraq and Afghanistan under his belt, D felt the exact same way. I think that made it even harder for him to retire.

Yeah. It sucks to think about...especially around the holidays. But now, the holidays are over, so it's a little bit easier with school keeping me busy. Tell D I said hello, and that I miss "getting the word".

Maybe I'm selfish, but I'm awfully glad you are here and not in the middle east. All those people who are over there should clearly apply for the MECEP program. Besides, once you are done, I'm sure their will be opportunities aplenty to go back, unfortunately. :)

Well...I'm not complaining. I'm glad to be here too. It's just crappy to think about sometimes because I know that people are going on back-to-back-to-back deployments. It must be incredibly hard to do when you don't get a break.
