Grrr- pissed off mommy moment

So, I want to be all 'eco-friendly' and buy a ecofriendly shoe for my son. But since my son will grow out of said shoe in like 4-5 months I will not spend 45 dollars on a shoe.. though that is like 10 bucks a month? hmmm. Maybe the cost isn't so bad. but man, 45 dollars for a child shoe

Truthfully, I spent $55 on a single pair of shoes for Lillian. Stride Rites are the only shoes that are small enough and skinny enough to fit her, but sturdy enough to put up with her energy.

But that's the thing. I can go to Target and get very sturdy shoes for my son for like 14 dollars. I have gone through 2 pairs since we found them. One in size 7 one in size 8. He lives in them.
