On the one hand, I'm completely aware that it's the most racist mainstream film in American history, but I'm also aware of how it's basically the first real "film" ever, in the sense of having multiple cameras to film different angles, using elaborate sets, and lasting longer than 15 minutes. oops, forgot to add: Why are they showing it at 8pm on a tuesday? TCM usually hides silent films in the Sunday at midnight slot. Also, I don't have cable and I work tonight, so maybe one emmy could tape the movie for one josh to watch later? *evil devilish grin since there's no way i can pull off puppy dog eyes*
