I feel like spamming, so... there.

It seems like the entire world is falling apart -- the turmoil in Iran, the Metro Train disaster, fandom is in full blown hiatus SUCKAGE, the San Antonio Spurs traded Bruce Bowen (WTF, Spurs?), etc. So, to try to brighten a day or two, have some music (and if you want to share in the comments, please do!!):

That was fun! I'm not familiar with a bunch of them.

Blackbird is one of my favorites, though. (Isn't it everyone's?)

I can never hear Lola without hearing "Yoda". Child of the 80's, what can I say? :-P The hysterical thing is, I plugged my 3-year-old into the headphones, and she piped up 'they're singing Yoda!' Next generation, baby! ;-)

I really like Melody. My musical education was sadly narrow, growing up, so I've never really listened to the Stones, but I looked this one up after Lisa mentioned it, and thought 'of course it's Hugh's favorite...it's really more jazz/blues than r&r.'

People who don't love Blackbird are obviously pretentious. :)

HAHAHA... Yoda. And way to pass it on to the kid. That's awesome.

Melody is fun. It's just a sexy, sexy song. I listened to the Stones a fair amount as a kid, but I'd never heard of this song until Lisa mentioned it. I agree -- definitely more jazz/blues.

Explosions in the Sky -- totally my driving back and forth between Austin and San Antonio band. Although, their music is so relaxing that I about fall asleep every time, LOL. I would love to see them in concert one day.

Shine! Woot! Ever since you sent me that original link, I've loved that song and play it once in a while. =D

And Blackbird! And that's Vegas at the beginning! Oh, Vegas, how I miss you. And I love that song. It's one of my favorite Beatles tunes.

As I was telling someone else, it's a sexy, sexy song, which I grant you most Stones songs are, but still. This one takes the cake. :)
