Chipp's history with Venom is very interesting: After getting caught punching the dead corpse of the previous Assassin Guild's leader by Venom, the two had a fight which ended in an unlikely truce. Chipp managed to convince Venom, with his fist, to lend him the power of the Assassin's Guild when he became President. Venom agreed, partly because he knew Chipp's chances of actually becoming President of Whatever was as likely as him ever getting laid by Zato.
He would then regret his decision when Chipp started breaking into his house and eating his breakfast every Tuesday.
For some reason that Chipp has yet to figure out, not that he ever thinks about it in depth, Venom is tolerant of his antics and is one of Chipp's unexpectedly close allies in both his home world and in Damned. Finding Venom in this place was one silver lining that Chipp wasn't expecting and is grateful for, and he will always go to Venom first in the event that he needs anything.
In other words, Venom is never getting rid of Chipp. Ever.
