Wow, I loved this!! What a beautiful response to an intriguing prompt - one that seems so perfect and obvious now that I've seen it, but that I've never seen before! I loved how the fey was the core of this story and yet, not fussed over like it was a big deal - you made it part of the world and normal, and yet the crux of the crime (and the linchpin of the beginning of Hathaway and Lewis' romance!). Cleverly and deftly woven - and the little parenthetical asides were just right; they echoed the poetry motif and gave just enough of a glimpse into Lewis' perspective. Hey, you know what? I really loved this!!
