Because everyone is doing it! No, not illicit drugs, though this may count as one.

1. Won-won? What. No, seriously, Lavender is even worse than Le Blanc, who I like solely because of the mini-game that occurs in Chapter 3 of FFX-2. You know what mini-game I'm talking about.

2. Slughorn is okay. He gets more points for finally being a semi-okay person, even though he was from (OMG!) Slytherin.

3. Snape being the Half-Blood Prince? Fairly amusing.

4. The last few chapters with Dumbledore? Well, okay. I still don't get the whole drinking of the potion bit.

5. Rowling's foreshadowing skills equate more to being slammed across the head with a sack of bricks. Dumbledore gets more screen time than the other five books combined. He's getting old and injured, as he pointed out several times throughout the book.

6. Aww, Harry x Ginny! How cute!

7. Lupin x Tonks? Where did that come from?

8. Better than Sirius x Tonks; aren't they related?

9. Ginny, I may love you more than I love Hermione, and that's saying a lot.

10. I think I like this one even more than Book IV, solely because of the hackeyed shipping. XD I have no taste, I admit it. I love cheesy romance. The dialogue between Harry and Ginny at the end was amusing, though cheesy. Eh, whatever! I’m a sucker for these types of things, even though, the pairings were pretty expected. Well, not really Tonks and Lupin, but whatever. And oh yeah, Fleur and Bill? Hahah, Ron’s getting a part-Veela sister-in-law!

11. Dumbledore’s death was pretty expected, in that archetypical hero story sort of way. Harry has to face Voldemort alone in the long run, and having a powerful wizard ally would pretty much impede everything. I would make Star Wars references here, but as I’ve seen only one out of six of the damned things, I can’t really say anything about them.

12. Kind of irate about Snape turning evil; he had the chance to be more complex than that, but whatever. We’ll see. I was pretty much certain he would be gone, because he was the new DADA professor.

13. Well, so much for Draco. I didn’t think he was quite that bad, but he is. Oh well. I liked the scene where he broke Harry’s nose.

14. Luna is also amusing.

15. Hermione, when did you become so obtuse? Well, I’ve been in similar situations before, and probably handled it much more poorly than she, so I guess I have no right to complain.

16. McGonagall is nowhere near as cool as she was in the fifth book. Pity.

Now where’s my bloody Shadow Hearts III?
