I'm always impressed when someone drafts their own pattern and takes the time to make a test garment first. Great job!

Well, I had guidelines on how to make a pants pattern, but it was just 'here's the rough shape, here's the measurements'

... and then, like anything else, I didn't leave it well enough alone. It's just two pieces, folds on the outside, so the seam is on the inside. The original guidelines had perfectly straight sides, and I didn't like that idea, so I had my test version drop down 10", then flare out a couple inches. After seeing the complete version, I decided I wanted more flare, but also wanted the top to come in some, so they're the same at the crotch, taper in 4" over 10" below the crotch, then flare out to a full 40" inches.

40" cuffs seems insane, but, well, these are just /fun/.

I do stuff, you do stuff. It's different stuff. As it is, I don't have enough time (or is it motivation?) for the stuff I want to do.

As for commission... uhm... sizing right now involves a lot of 'let me try it on, and see how well it fits ... well, at least for the waist and hem. Still, hey, in the future maybe ... would give me something to practice on. Sewing is one of the skills I'd like to be better at. (partly because I have this terrible penchant for clothes which aren't in fashion)
