Much delayed Halloween/Anniversary post

Sadly, it probably won't be much worth the wait, everything was quiet and relaxed this year, nothing too earth shattering to report.

My trip to Philadelphia was nice, and there were plenty more signs that Hermes was working his best to make sure I had a nice time. First clue came in the Greyhound bus station where we were hanging around waiting to ( Read more... )

More of Hermes's blessings, because, dude, the people on the Septa stuff usually aren't that quiet, even on the trolleys. You totally lucked out. The subway is the worst, but the buses and the L isn't much better.

I'm only a *little* disgruntled that you guys went to Philly both after we moved and after we started talking to you both. ;)

I'm glad you are both on the mend, too.

Halfway through year five (omg?) myself, and I have to say, I'm only now starting to feel like the foundation isn't shaking anymore. May your journey to this place be faster. ;)

Eh, I knew it. I swear sometimes people just know there are visitors nearby and remain on their best behavior. Same thing happened when my mother came to visit. Did she have to deal with the shrieking horde? No, they only showed up after she was gone. And she got to sleep in the living room hearing only the normal sounds of city traffic going by; no yelling kids, no fighting homeless people, no asshole making his bus wait go by faster by belting out a song about how much he loves vagina at three o'clock in the fucking morning ( ... )
