I may have to rethink my its full of crap position on astrology. Maybe my biggest problem with it was not knowing where to look.

I had my chart done by a friend, just to see if the actual breathing human working on it made a difference. And I got to ask the question what is it that makes me nothing like, and in many ways exactly opposite, of what ( Read more... )

So, you have Mercury in your 11th or 8th house. I have my Mercury in my 3rd house, the house ruled by Gemini, but Mercury in my chart falls in Leo -- the sign of 'the spotlight' (as I like to call it), a very central and solar role. So, the spotlight, for me, is a mercurial place which I flit into and out of.

I've got a Scorpio on my 5th house, with Uranus (Ouranos) smack dab in the center of it. 5th house being the house of Leo is also a house of 'play' and Sexorpio Scorpio on top of it lends it the keyword "intensity ( ... )

Yeah, how important the rising sign is and how much it shapes who you are (as opposed to being more of an act, a mask you wear like you said) seemed to vary depending on where I was reading. And the Sun is just one of the many planetary influences. If you were born with a Moon opposition your sun (you could be born during a lunar eclipse!), you'd be born under a full moon... and that could be potent, just as much as a moon-conjunct-sun (a new moon ( ... )

Sorry, you were right the first time, it is bullshit. Astronomy says so. You probably aren't that Sun sign anyway, because there are 13 of them (which would explain some weird things about me, that 13 one is my "Sun sign") :))
