What to see, what to see ...

Amazing, its only February, and there are actually three movies coming out I want to see. This does not usually happen, especially not so early in the year.

Shutter Island - Martin Scorsese does a horror-ish movie. Looks interesting enough to me, the director and cast list promises to make it worth watching at least once.

What, no Percy Jackson? ;o) (I laugh, but I'm also going to see it. *sigh* Can't help it. Poseidon so rarely gets to be more than a face in the waves. I shall giggle like a schoolgirl and ignore the horrible, horrible plot.)

Even if I had no interest before (and I didn't) the commercial advertisements really turned me off. My brain is telling me you're one of my friends without a TV, so you might not know what I'm talking about. They're making it out to be the next Harry Potter, the commercials are exactly the same, right down to the way the film title is written on the screen. I'm one of the five people on the planet that never got into Harry Potter, and I got tired of hearing of having the media shove it down my throat about five years ago now. That's not endearing the movie to me at all. Plus, its just not my thing. :-P
