Took a couple of days off just catching up on other things and working on updating my website. I've put an application in to the Toronto Public Library to display my work next year and I'm just wanting to highlight my best pieces on my website. Sometimes when I get frustrated by a painting that is not going my way it's therapeutic to whip out the big brush and just reduce the painting to broad strokes, which is what more art teachers advocate anyway. Plus it sometimes makes the painting much better.

In lieu of my regular updates today I'm going to share with you my lame attempt at watercolour painting, which I've tried once or twice before but not frequently enough to possibly know what I'm doing. I have to apologize once again for the lull in my blog these last couple of days.
