Guh, stupid love triangles :/. I'd say it's only useful if they did something like main char likes guy A who likes girl B, cuz then there'd be some nice angst, but yeah... they actually kinda achieved that in Full House, but in that case it was more of a messed up love square ._.;;; And why is it that it's never a guy choosing between girls? *shrugs hopelessly*

A female lead best corresponds to a female audience as somewhat of 'let's fantasize being in her situation' thing. But I don't think they would feature an overly romantic guy as the main character since it may turn off some of the female viewers because we love our dark, brooding, mysterious men (soh sexy no ?). Anyway, even if he were to choose the girl, it would be a pretty obvious choice in that situation too.
I want to see a show where Girl A and Boy A are a couple who don't get along. But this time, it's Girl A who's being the nasty person. Boy B is Boy A's close friend and comforts him in his time of need. Then at the end, instead of patching things up with Girl A, Boy A runs off with Boy B. That would be a great twist, ne ?
