a couple days ago i called lauren "chicken".  i don't know why i did that.

eufemia forgave me.  apparently, it's some cultural offense to name a dog anything other than certain specified dog names.  should have known.

actually i'm writing for no other reason than that i have not written for an outstanding amount of time.  nothing's really happened
