Just Have a Party, Part II

A few weeks ago, I wrote an essay about just having a party--forgetting about the sales parties and inviting people over to buy things, and just having a party. Drinks. Food. Celebrating being alive.

You know, I probably would have spent way more than $25 on Scentsy stuff I do not need had I held the sales party instead.

Even with all of the "free" stuff you'd get as a hostess. And don't forget that you'd probably have provided food & drinks anyway.

Sounds like fun! I want to have a party someday, when my kids are old enough to stay up past 8pm.

Put the kids to bed at 7:30. Invite friends over at 8. Voila!

It's pretty awesome. Maggie's kids are a little older, so she put them in the basement with a movie and let them have some pizza, but it can be done with the early bedtime, too.
