Chicken and Dumplings

Is there any place in New York to get good chicken and dumplings? Preferably somewhat close-ish to campus? There's one place I know of, but they're 23 dollars and if soul food is expensive that means they're doing something wrong. I've checked menupages to no avail. Help!

Hmm, if it really comes down to it you could try making it yourself. It's really not a hard dish to cook, and I make a similar vegan version sometimes.
