Anyone Play Hero Quest?

My roommates and I played an impromptu game of Hero Quest this weekend. Its a watered down version of DnD board game. Patrick loves this game and only ever DMs. Lets just say hes not a good DM. going to be out of town next weekend. have you played 4th ed DnD? if we ever finish Erik's Shadowrun game, i'm going to start up a game of it.

I use to play that all the time in grade school, it was sort of my gateway drug into heavier gaming. It was a nice started because the roleplaying aspect was at a minimum, and there were 30 some dungeons pre-made in that book that had a loose story behind them. I have fond memories of it.

I've played it. And it was fun. Do you have the basic Heroquest or Advanced? Advanced had character kits that you could add to it like witch hunter. I'd play, but these next 2 weekends are full for me.

Uh I think Patrick has the basic plus an expansion pack. However Andy found a map creator plus all the rules for other characters in pdf form :) There isn't enough support to get a game going this weekend or next, and the one after that, I think, is my party, so maybe we can shoot for the weekend before Halloween or something. We can discuss that stuff later.
