Dinner tonight

Feb 09, 2006 09:13

I am sick of beef stew leftovers...anyone up for going out to eat tonight? I was thinking Udipi Cafe in Decatur or some other non-American cuisine......

Sometime between 6 and 7? Anyone? Or CDG, if you want to go, I know that Decatur is a far drive - we could go somewhere on your side of town....

If I have a little snack before hand I can wait until 7 or a little bit after...

Alright, I'm going to back out. It seems that I shall not go home tonight. And believe me, the mood I'm in right now it is better that I remain as isolated as possible.

Have fun, though.

The Udipi Cafe? Wish I could come.

My vote is for another visit to Chow Baby. And, I could meet you between 6:45 and 7 p.m. I'm not sure when I'll be getting home. We're sending a magazine proof for approval to our client. I'll be delivering it this afternoon. But I'll need time to get Piper exercised and fed. But if you choose Indian food, that's fine...I'll take a raincheck.

And, while we're making plans, two of my coworkers are hosting an art show in Midtown on Sunday. They'll have jewelry, photography art and sculpture. Plus there's wine and hors d'oeuvres to be had. It's from 1-6. I'd love to have some company...everyone's invited.

If you lot are going out for Indian can I get your beef stew leftovers? I'm so not in the mood for more hot dogs out of the can...*sigh*

Of course - although it might be a little rancid by the time (IF) it makes it through customs....

When you come for Thanksgiving, I can make you some if you'd like. Of course, you may have your share of American food then :)

Ooh yum. This is going to be my best Thanksgiving ever. Well okay, so it's going to be my ONLY Thanksgiving ever...but still...fun will be had. And good food!

*grins*

It's the best holiday. All you do is eat until you're sick. *grins*

Then nap. Then eat some more.

Oooh, Udipi sounds good! Although I like the idea of the buffet better than trying to pick something off the menu (mostly because I don't know what a lot of it is!)... Don't supposed I could convince you to wait 'til the weekend then we could do lunch there?!? :D

I agree ninjakat - and Ben would probably be mad that we went without him since he loves it too...

OK, my choice is ChowBaby, CDG - call me when you get off work and we'll coordinate - that goes for anyone else who's up for going!

And maybe we can do Udipi sometime this weekend...Saturday lunch is open for me - not sure about anything else...

Saturday lunch would work for me. Not sure if Brian would be interested -- I don't think he likes the idea of Indian food too much...

It would be especially handy as I may have to make two quick trips by work within a three-hour time period this weekend... I would like to be able to hang out in the area in between the trips!

BTW, I like your kitten icon! *grins*

I'll check with "TheBen" and see if he's up for lunch at Udipi on Sat.

Thanks - I finally figured out where to upload a pic to get a URL for it...
