I always think that's funny. Other than my warped mind with that joke, I think this is a really lame holiday. So we're not doing anything other than possibly going out to lunch, although I think that's out b/c I have a meeting with my boss and a client's IT team today at my lunchtime

I didn't realize you'd hired someone to help out, but I think that's a great plan! It definitely helps take the stress down a peg or two.

No worries - the only time I get perturbed, really, is when my lunch hour gets messed with. LOL

I forgot to tell ya'll that I had hired some part time help :) It's only 3-6 hours a week but so far K is doing well - she likes it b/c it's flexible and a little money and adult interaction, and I like it cause she's so damn helpful.

One thing I did learn that I think is cool is that the state minimum wage is almost 8$/hr here, even before the Federal min wage increase.

I'm glad to hear the part-time help is working out - two jobs sounded overwhelming. Oh, and from your other post, I hope you're able to find a new house that you love and I hate that the last one didn't work out. But it sounds like you did everything you could.
