Funny thing happened afterwards. You could totally tell a non-californian just experienced their first earthquake. Immediately after the shaking stopped: WAS THAT AN EARTHQUAKE? I think this was directed to someone one next to him... but the ENTIRE complex heard him and someone responded: YEAH. It was.

I dont know why I found this incredibly amusing. But it had me giggling for a good 5 minutes.
