Just registered me for some GREs. Buckling down to study my math (for the gen test) and basic psych (for the subject test).
Holy crap, I'm applying to grad schools. I must now needs go find my goggles and my helmet...the fancy one, with the sparkly purple stripes.

(I swear, if there existed posters of Lawrence Kohlberg, I'd have one on the back of my door, and it'd be covered in surreptitious lipstick kisses [I love him, even though his system had some major flaws and he only tested it ON MEN], and now I will stop my silly moral dev. fangirl rant!)

Oh, guess what my dad doooooooooooooooes. He's a clinical psychologist at IU, which is one of the top clinical programs, although they're all pretty darn hard to get into. (Apparently, harder than med school, he tells me :/)But you're awesome and qualified and I'm sure you'll get in somewhere.
You can contact my dad if you want and use my name as an in - a very good idea especially if you're interested in IU's program. batesj at indiana.edu

Yeah, IU is one of the top 20 psych programs in the country! I'm not sure I'll apply, since I think I want to stick around home for a while, but I'll keep it in mind (also, I will keep your dad's email in my arsenal!)
In all honesty, I'm slightly terrified. I mean, Vassar's a great school, and I worked hard and did pretty well in all my classes (macroecon aside...), but...I didn't graduate with a 4.0, I'm wasn't valedictorian, and I'm just this little 22-year-old, what the hell do I know about ANYTHING? I'm just having these little fantasies where every single school turns me down with letters that have big type-face going "HA HA HA NO."
I'm pretty sure it's just standard higher learning/uncertain future/self-doubting anxieties, but the fear is there, y'know?

Seems though that most programs that do Creative Nonfiction don't require the GRE. It'll bite me in the ass like woah if the rest of my research says otherwise though D:
