Look at the animation.  JUST LOOK AT IT.  Folks, this is why you don't close down your 2D studios.  And oh, the character designs, and the backgrounds, and the prince with an actual personality.

That's a looooooot better than the teaser trailer, which was frankly a little offensive. That stupid firefly. This movie isn't going to be progressive or anything, but it could be fun.

Yeah, I saw that too. Hoooo boy. Disney's really walking the line with this one. Still, I appreciate the fact that they're finally trying.

Still, I am a HUGE fan of traditional 2D animation, plus I'm a sucker for Disney, and this looks like it'll have definite style (plus, I'm hoping, a nice jazzy soundtrack!)

That looks great! I love the deep south feel.

Though it does remind me very strongly of a poem I wrote in Ms. Poole's creative writing class in 2003 that had the same premise. The girl kisses the frog and becomes one herself....
