IT'S SO CUTE. I saw a bunny the other day, and it jumped up on the glass...as if to say: "take me home", and I about died, because I wanted to take it home!

However, we have a cat. So no bunnies. :(

Owww. I'd have died as well!

Boo. Me doesn't like cats much xD

In our case, we have a giant dog. I don't consider it mine -long story- and I like small dogs, not big ones u,u ~~ So.. we'd have to keep the bunny inside the house, build some kind of house for her (I'd probably get a girl-bunny) in a way that can't run all over the house but makes her happy too, but they are also smelly so.. it's hard. I don't think we could have her :(..

Cute bunny. :)

At some point in the future, you might have your own home and no parents to tell you 'no'. Maybe then? ;)
Just be very aware of what you get yourself in... a lot of people forget that a pet, any pet, is quite a bit of responsibility. (one could go as far as say that a pet is as much responsibility as a child... and a bit more, as they never grow up and become more independent or ever can word their needs/problems and you gotta figure it out for them)

I got my cat from an animal shelter and no one could tell me her story because her previous owners just dumped a baby cat somewhere like trash. My guess: the long fur and her immense demand for attention were too much for her previous owners... if they'd read up on a bit of literature (or even googled 'Silver Persian, Chinchilla') they maybe wouldn't have gotten themselves such a cat because a) their long, very, very silky fur needs quite some attention and b) they're famous for being attention seeking whores.

In our case, things ended well... *pets her kitten* :D

I don't know if I'm going to be able to have a pet in the future :( If I live by myself, I'll be working by then so I don't know how happy a bunny will be if I'm not there for most of the day. Depends on where I live too, not everywhere allows animals :(

And yeah, I've had pets before, so no worries. I know they're not just decorative, they take a lot of work, but even as I don't want to have children in the future, I'd be happy to take care of a bet. To me, they're less responsibility as a small child and they're more.. yours, in a way.

Glad to read your story had a happy ending and you and your kitten are happy :)

I sometimes feel bad for leaving my kitten alone when going to work, too. It's even harder since I can't get her a companion - she goes bat shit crazy on any other cat. (heck, she's even jealous of my (human) best friend (if looks could kill... it's sooooo scary) ^^;).

But someone has to bring in the money and since she gets quite a bit of lovin' (food, snacks, pets, play time, brushing, etc.) when I'm around, I think she's fine.

I'm not sure how it is where you live, but in my home country it is officially not allowed to have bunnies alone. You always have to have at least two, because they are 'social beings' and need a partner. If you'd get two, your bunny wouldn't be alone even if you're out working. Then again... they'll cost more and cause more work. It's always a double-edged sword with having more than one pet.

But most of the time they're so worth all the trouble you go through for 'em. (and they are not only more 'yours'... they're usually also more loyal (even cats)).

o.o woo.. well, in here I don't think there are many laws regarding animals, not at all. The thing with having more than one too, is that I'd love to have one of those small bunnies and that way, I could bring her with me if I go for a walk or something, while if they're two, I couldn't :(

Also they might fight ;_;

Heh. I dislike cats for several reasons & childhood experiences, but I have come to understand people's fascination with them :) You clearly love yours, and that's so cute ♥

Awww so cute! ♥

It's totally okay, I'm 22 too (for other 2 weeks :P) and every time I see something so cute I just have to take a pic of it and just post it everywhere XD probably not normal, but who cares? Normal is overrated anyway :P

So, uh... what was I saying? Oh, yes, cute bunny. I don't have any pets either becasue my parents don't want them - we don't have the space -_- so I have decided that when I'll have a house on my own I'll have a zoo in it XD
