Seoul Trip and JYJ concert

Dec 22, 2010 12:17

Hi Flists!

I know I ought to be bricked for only posting this 2.5 weeks after I'm back. But I was really tired and things started to get busy and family events/matters and etc.

I thoroughly enjoy my Seoul trip. Seoul is really beautiful, clean and safe. I miss Seoul and definitely will go back soon (if I have the money) ^.~ The people in Seoul is really nice and helpful but it's kinda difficult to ask for directional help even from subway station officer due to language barrier. I really need to start my Korean Language class soon.

Ok, now on to JYJ concert. It's my first time attending a concert of this scale. A truly unforgettable memory cause:
1) I thought I was going to die freezing myself in the cold weather
2) It was amazing sharing this memorable 1st concert with the boys
3) It's even more amazing getting to know new fellow fans/ friends and sharing this experience with them

Tbh, I didn't enjoy much on the first day cause I was too busy trying to keep warm. It's my first time experiencing winter and snow and the cold was kinda shocking to me though I was really excited to see snow. And I was stupid enough to buy cute furry but useless gloves. T.T Have learnt my lesson. One the first day, it's quite obvious that the boys were looking unhappy because of the collapsed dome. Though I think they were sad that they could not fulfil their promises to fans, I think it's more of they feel bad for making fans suffered the cold with them. But I think it's precisely the point that we were there together with them and going through the harship with them and shouting "Kwenchana!Kwenchana!" to them that touched them and gave them the strength to carry on. Cause they looked and sounded much better on the second day. Their spirit was definitely much higher.

Not gonna go into details of the concert cause all of you have already read all the fan accounts from others. But there were a few memorable moments that are still fresh in my mind that I want to share. Jae's playing "Hero" rescuing Junsu from Yoochun's request for his 200K won back and attempting to fly/run around with his Princely cape, Soulmate's pronouncing "Shock" in such a cute way during Mission(and KW's excitement in their cute pronounciation is truly all sorts of cuteness ^.~), we were conned into thinking that there was an Orchestra version of EMPTY only to realise that they're just playing the intro part of it, how touching and how I fell in love the moment I heard "Fallen Leaves", how I'm totally impressed with Yoochun's Solo Piano piece(his voice is truly huskily clear and beautiful), many fangirls screaming no when dancers were stripping Jae and haha, at KW's suprised expression when I started to sing along to Junsu's "I Can Soar" after remaining so quiet for so long. I was really busy concentrating on trying to keep warm but I guess my love for this song made me forget about the coldness, hahaha. I also did sing along to Jae's "To you it's Separation, For me it's Waiting". It was much better for me on the 2nd day cause I was more prepared for the cold. I brought 8 hot packs with me, hahahahahaha.

I know people complained about the collapsed dome and stuff, complaining that they were freezing their ass off. But if you think that we fans were feeling cold and freezing our butt off during the few hours there is bad, what about Jaejoong, Junsu, Yoochun and their team (especially the girls)? They were dressed in thin and filmsy clothes but yet they continued on to perform. I am not saying this as a biased fan but truly, JYJ and his team has my utmost respect for their professionalism. I am so glad that they did not cancel the concert. Imagine the horror of having to rearrange the air tickets, accommodation and the extra money we needed to fork out if they would have postponed the concert.

I managed to go to Crebeau Belle(I am still feeling very bad to the nice lady for not going back as promised to get the stuff from Crebeau Belle. Time and distance did not permit us to go back again T.T), Minsarang Pizza (Papa Su is sooooo nice. Managed to take a photo with him and got his autograph), Crebeau Kiss, Time-out, Crebeau Jeff and did all the fan-girling stuff there, hahahaha.

After KW left, Imie and I managed to go to COEX Mall(gah, how I wish we have more time there but having more time there would only means I'll spend more money), Hangang River, Seoul Tower + Teddy Bear Museum, Nandaemun, Dongdaemun, Lotte world and Star Avenue (Imie yah!! If you are reading this, I think we missed another part of Star Avenue cause I saw places of pictures from other fan accounts that we did not see when we were there!!), Myeongdong and Gyeongbokgung. And we went to 3 branches of Nature Republic(Myeongdong, Namdaemun and Seoul Tower branch) and managed to made myself go broke and have to eat air for the next 2 months. JYJ's pictures were like everywere but well, it could also be because the places that we went to were somewhat JYJ related, hahaha.

Nature Republic products are really not bad. Even my mom said so cause I bought quite a lot for her. I managed to get the JYJ Nature Republic Photobook and the posters *get bricked*.

Didn't have much money left to buy fangoods but I did manage to buy some. However, maybe cause we look very tourist-ish, it's really difficult to bargain for prices in Nandaemun though we've been informed that we could bargain there T_T. Managed to get some concert goods too but everything except the T-shirts was sold off by the time it's our turn in the queue T.T I did record some vids and audio files but have yet the time to transfer them to my pc. I'll share them if the quality is ok. But if the quality is really bad, then I'm so sorry.

The food there is really spicy but it's nice. Haha, thank god my stomach could get used to the spicyness!! We tried, Bimbibap, ddukbokki(correct spelling???), Kimbap, Ramyeon, Oden, Kimchie Chigae, Stir-fried spicy pork adn others.

Woah, without realising, I've typed so much, hahaha, how happy memories could make time flies. Sorry flists for my long-windedness *get bricked*

Though I'm broke now, I'm glad that I went to Seoul and JYJ's concert. It was an unforgettable experience and money well spent. Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu Hwaiting ah!! You are not alone in this rocky path you choose. We are with you all the way. Though things might not be how you want them to be now, have faith and we too hope that one day, we'll see all 5 of you on stage as one again. I am glad that Homin is doing well with their album too. Their song Athena ought to shut those who says they are the least important of the TVXQ up! All 5 are equally important and are able to hold their own ground.

HWAITING JYJ! HWAITING HOMIN! HWAITING CASSIES!

Not gonna comment on the recent fandom war over JYJ vs Homin. Everyone is free to think what they think and believe what they want. I know where my faith lies and am so glad I have good, rational and logical flists!!♥♥♥

PS: Sorry for the typo or grammar errors! No time to check!!
