I was reading your 2016 post (lol) and I realized another friend of mine posted about this amnesty thing. I am not around LJ much so maybe I am uninformed but I had no idea defriending people created such drama lol.
Some people on LJ create huge drama if someone unfriends them even if they have nothing in common, barely know each other, and nearly never comment in each other's LJs. It's an unfortunate term, but "amnesty" has come to mean people can come and go in one's LJ as they please and you won't trash talk them because of it.
i see. Well it makes sense. I can certainly understand it. I have lost contact with people over time, and sometimes you decide to catch up and check their lj and their interests are completely different lol. I tend to keep them on my list just because I have that 'aww someday i might want to see how they are doing again". But I think people are losing their sense of class. Trash about online unfriending is strange lol.thanks for the explanation though.
