Running, Hoobastank
I find music highly inspirational. The lyrics to a song often give me an idea, or remind me of a fic I've already read (and often, loved.) That does not make me a songfic author. I swear. Music just inspires me, like other types of art do. Music and the work of other writers wakes me up inside, makes a part of me come alive.

More photos of my quilts...this one is my 2-year quilt, as I think of it. The design is called Not Such Hard Times. It's a scrap quilt based on a depression-era pattern designed to use up small swatches of fabric that were often distributed free or for a small price for making fabric and clothing purchases.

LOD: Shawshank Redemption
Steven King is an incredibly prolific writer. But not, many would argue, an incredibly literary one. I tend to agree. His works are enjoyable, but they lack the pure poetry of beautiful work. Podfic Rec: In the City of Seven Walls, by Auburn, Read by General Jinjur
I love audio books. Love them, as in, I'm addicted to them, I must have them. So, podfic rocks my world, because, really, free audio books of fanfic stories? Some are fun, some are serious but well done, others are extraordinary. The In the City of Seven Walls podfic falls under that last category.
