Five Things You'll Never Get Around To Really Writing

1. gryffinderps-verse

Lea's lips were softer than he'd expected, although his chin left a faint scratch of stray stubble. Isa leant in and captured them again, slipping his tongue forward to meet Lea's inside his mouth. It was strange, soft, warm, and slippery, and he was sure there was a hint of cigarettes on his breath. Lea's hand slipped out of his and hitched his shirt up, running underneath it and over Isa's skin as Lea pushed him back onto the bed.

Isa pulled back a little, his breath short as he looked up at Lea through heavy lidded eyes. Lea looked flushed, his pupils blown wide in their ring of green. Isa reached forward, and took Lea's hips, pulling him in closer until the contact made him give a small groan. “You're sure about this?” Lea asked, uncertainty in his expression. Isa considered it for a moment before he nodded and pulled Lea down for another kiss.

Lea's fingers transferred to the buttons of Isa's shirt. Isa's, on the other hand, moved to Lea's jeans, loosening them before he slipped a hand inside. He smirked as he felt Lea give a helpless little grumble of appreciation against his mouth.

2. helix_ianua-verse

“Mistake, right?” Axel asked, running a hand awkwardly through his hair. Saix didn't want to look at him. He'd been drunk, he'd been missing Vexen, he'd been caught up in the joy of having Lea back and admitting to that old crush. He'd sucked him off until Axel's fingers were tight in his hair, and then he'd stopped and looked up into green eyes that weren't quite as brilliant as Vexen's and said I want you, I want to take you, flushed with lust and alcohol and nostalgia.

And he had. There were scratches on his back, and teeth marks in Axel's shoulder. He'd come inside his best friend while thinking of his husband, wrapped in cheap hotel sheets, damp with sweat and musk, and it had been the best sex he'd had for a while.

But a mistake? “If only. I'd do it again tonight if I could guarantee Vexen will never find out.”

3. helix_ianua-verse

He'd been beckoned to the kitchen. He knew, with the dread of inevitability, that he was about to be on the receiving end of some sarcastic lecture, and once he'd arrived in the kitchen, he was proven right. “These,” Vexen said, indicating the box of recently bought teabags. “What do you call these?” Saix had answered with a weary 'teabags, Vexen', which had been the signal his husband required to begin explaining the precise differences between the various types of teabag available. “These are round, Saix, they're not even as high-tech as pyramid bags,” he was saying, and between the sarcasm and the sheer oddness of the lecture, Saix's mind wandered. It all tasted like stewed leaves to him, anyway, but he drank coffee, for which Vexen called him uncultured, and wasn't averse to re-heating a cup that had gone cold in the microwave, for which Vexen called him a heathen. He paid just enough attention to know how to make a cup of tea to Vexen's tastes, and that was all he had thought he needed to know.

Apparently, he was wrong, and the lecture dragged on until Vexen caught on to Saix's wandering attention and demanded, “Are you even paying attention, Saix?” His voice had reached that pitch that was like nails on a chalkboard, and Saix looked at him before he answered.

“Not really,” he admitted, before he stepped forward and planted a swift kiss on Vexen's lips. “I'll take them back, and get the kind you want, shall I?” He asked, looking up into Vexen's stunned expression and the merciful silence associated with it.

“Please,” he said, after a moment.

4. Noir-verse

“Wait!” Candel yelled, and shot through Noir's wrist with expert precision. Ahead, their enemy chuckled, ragged wings held aloft, skin torn and scabbed. In places, the feathers were missing entirely, leaving bald, plucked skin.

Just ahead of Noir, Tapros also held his wings aloft, plumage fluffed to make him appear larger as he hissed, menacingly. Noir looked at Tapros, and then at the object of his attentions. Beyond the walls, the sound of battle had yet to reach them; the enemy forces were still occupied by the army at the perimeter; they still didn't know anyone was here. It made no sense. The leader was always guarded, or he was already dead. Unless....

“It's a Shapeshifter,” Noir said, and Candel nodded.

“Now what will you do?” Asked the broken body of the Angebreed in front of them, in a voice that was too smooth and came too easily to be the Angebreed itself. Noir watched it for half a moment longer before raising its gun and firing.

Tapros dropped dead, his hissing terminated by the bullet shattering the back of his skull. “How very Viral,” the broken one commented, and Noir raised its weapon and shot him, too.

5. Kingdom Hearts-verse

“Go! We'll hold them off!” Lea readied his weapons as some of the townspeople backed off, before turning and running for their lives. “If we can,” he said, once they were out of earshot. Isa shared the sentiment, but didn't want to voice it aloud, and he hefted his sword, ready for the wave of small black creatures to begin. It would likely be a futile battle; they were hard to repel, harder still to destroy, and for every person they took, they swelled their ranks. It would be an unwinnable battle, but at least they could give people a chance to get to safety.

“Are you ready?” Isa asked, as the first shadows appeared.

“I was born ready,” said Lea, covering his nerves with cockiness.

Isa nodded, and swung his sword as he ran in to the darkness. He fought as long as he could, heartened by the fact that he could hear Lea yelling and casting fire spells nearby. When he heard Lea give a pained yelp, he turned, and swung his sword, knocking away the Heartless that had tripped him before it could kill him. “Thanks,” said Lea, but Isa didn't have time to reply as he swung again, driving back more Heartless.

That was when it happened. A sharp pain ripped through his face, between his eyes, and Isa found himself fighting blind, trying to see through blood. Something got him, and pulled him down. He cried out, and the last thing he heard was Lea's frantic yell, “Isa!” before a brief but terrible pain.

“No!” Lea cried, fighting his way to where Isa had been, his vision becoming misted with tears, “Isa!” Then one of the shadows hit him in the chest, and he had a moment to register the shock before it was over.
