how i feel when i read salinger and nietzsche.
not sure if it's healthy to find such comfort in relating to people that aren't of my own time.

Nietzsche! I know what you mean; he's the voice for the nihilists of the world... like me. ahhh

and I actually think it's better to relate to people from times past than most prominent figures who are alive now. anything significant that people say nowadays is just what some brilliant dead person said years ago, only chewed up and spit out through a dumb mouth. you're not unhealthy, just smarter than a lot of people.
