I just saw a commercial for a new toy for girls, the Rose Petal Cottage. This little house playset has two little room-like areas: one has a stove, a sink, and a washing machine while the other has a cradle. Yes, those are the only things that a woman has and needs to know how to use.

I think it'd be much funnier if kids could play lab, or even better, play office ("ok, you be the worker, sit at that desk and play solitaire or move paper back and forth; I'll be the boss, and sit in my office and drink coffee, and then come out and yell at you. We'll be just like Mommy and Daddy!").
