I beat the original Castlevania for NES today
If it weren't for the "save and load game state" feature on the Raspberry Pi there's no way I would have ever been able to beat this game. The way I've decided to play overly difficult NES games, which is the ultimate way to play them in my opinion, is to play through each room until you've beaten it with full health, then save the game state at ( Read more... ) -

Caleb Scofield died in a freakish car accident in New Hampshire two nights ago. Caleb, bassist and vocalist in multiple bands that were important to me, including Cave In, Old Man Gloom, and Zozobra, has always been an idol of mine. He was only 39. R.I.P. <3
