I still think fondly of the friends I made on LiveJournal so many years ago, and I'm filled with regret at the needless arguments I had and ties severed for silly, petty reasons, and I'm embarrassed about who I was back then and the things I obsessed over.  I'd love to catch up and see how everyone is doing.

Hi Mike! I know exactly what you mean. As I sit here and read journal entries from 20+ years ago, it's amazing how the days are long but the years are short, and how much I've changed too (and how much embarrassing shit I used to write in the ol' LJ). Happy new year! I've got the same name and am on FB/IG and the random internet corners.

Happened to log back on today and was cruising through the wasteland that is LJ these days. Saw your post and thought I'd drop a comment.

We had tons of "arguments" but I wouldn't call them needless. I enjoyed our banter and look back on it fondly. I'd be happy to reconnect if you are around!

Woo, me too! I think about our talks still. I assure you I’m much less obnoxious in my wise old age. I’m not active on too many social media platforms these days, but I do have accounts. I guess maybe Discord is easiest, I’m Vargonian there… with some number I need to check..
