i'd forgotten this was happening until i saw your post. and now i've watched it and - the animation was indeed terrible... his hair was weeeeird. but the infinite quest had some dodgy animation too, as far as i remember. though not as bad as shalka. and shalka wasn't as bad as shada, which was unwatchable. so we must all be thankful for small mercies.
Glad it's not just me. It astounds me that they can take a good-looking bloke like DT and make him look so bleurgh AND witter on about new style fantastico animation and it looks so cr@p.
As I say, not that it will stop me watching it necessarily - I was very snooty about the whole SJA thing until I was off sick from work and ended up watching the original episode bang up to date in one sitting. Nothing will ever make me like K-9 though - I was 15 when he first appeared and 32 years later he is no less embarrassing (and surely they could have blown him up irrevocably by now?).
I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Probably won't be able to until they let it be shown outside of the UK or until I can find some other site that has it.
How have you been? You've been quiet lately! How is your family? Have you been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off like I have?
I am slowly working on Chapter 16. It seems as if I can never catch a break to do any writing lately.
I'm fine thank you - headless chicken analogy about sums it up. I've got five more (chickens that is) by the way. I'm off work at the moment as I've just had an operation on my right eye which is why I've got time to sit down and watch stuff (mainly with my left eye). If there WERE any stuff to watch. Saturday nights I used to have the next instalment of my favourite DW serial...ah, those were the days. The author said she'd written the chapter and had cut it in half, so I was SURE it would be up sooner than this. Just goes to show, You Can't Trust Those Americans...
I know...I'm sorry....I'm worthless and weak! Sob, sob, cry, snuffle. Like today...I made a vow to spend the afternoon and evening working on writing. And here it is, nine o'clock and I'm just getting started which means I might get a page done before I fall asleep!
BTW, I made two batches of Reese's Bars today for Thanksgiving at my in-law's and at my sister's.
What kind of surgery did you have to your eye, if you don't mind me asking?
Did I ever tell you I made the Reece's bars and they were YUM? Actually, I didn't make bars, more like tiny squares - they were so rich!
I don't mind your asking about my eye! It's not the sort of thing you have to deal with in your line of work, I don't think: not actual EYE surgery - I had an operation to correct the ptosis in my right eye (which, as I'm sure you know, means that the eyelid droops and does not open fully). It's still a bit swollen but already looking much better.
All the best people have ptosis - I notice DT has got a very slight one in his left eye. As he's like me (blind as a bat) he might end up needing an op as well in ten or twenty years' time, as wearing contacts can apparently make it worse. But you probably know all this!

Did you spot any subtle hints in the above, btw?
