My word! That is indeed an interesting title. However, I think someone should write a sociology paper on the social facilitative effects of brown bowler hats among groups of male strangers. It seemed to prompt many friendly conversations yesterday. There seems to be a whole secret society here that we don't know about.

Also, my theory is that whinging about men with girlie friends is an indication that one actually has a really nice bloke who doesn't mind his entire gender being the subject of gossip every so often. After all, we do this on a regular basis, and we both have lovely blokes. And our mothers were having a similar gossip about our dads today, both of whom are also sweeties.

There might be a Nobel prize in this for us....
