ahhh that is one of my favourite mountains! We go up there, then the Gratweg to the Heimgarten and down to Ohlstadt, where I live. Then we take another car and fetch the one we left at Walchensee, or, alternative, get somebody to drive us directly to Walchensee. That is such a beautiful place!

It is such a beautiful area indeed and I envy you for living that close. ;)
2 years ago I climed up to Herzogstand which also was stunning.
There are still a few hikes left in that area, luckily. :D

That looks like the most gorgeous place to have lunch. I also use Instagram to check the status of summits of the mountains! It's the best way to get trail conditions sometimes.
