Really, when I scrolled down and saw all the SHADING I was just AWED. If you've seen any of my art you'll know the when I do shade it's minimal and poor. This piece is so lovely and refreshing because it's such a different approach than most fanartists take. For most (bar wonders like tripperfunster), there is lineart and then you can see that shading was afterward included but with yours it seems to me to be made of different tones and pencil strokes.
It's messy and beautiful. :D

I actually don't think your terrible at shading at all. I think with shading though, it's tricky to see which parts to shade in, depending on light source and stuff. I don't know...I usually have basic references when I make art but this must be one of the few I've done from the top of my head. I just go with the flow when it comes to shading. And I've learned that line isn't my thing.
Though, your art is pretty good. Really.
