Have you tried getting frames off the internet and taking them with you? The last I found frames I like, I ordered two pairs of glasses. Not only did I have a back up, but then when it was time to get new glasses, I presented them with my other pair and told them to use those frames. As a result, I haven't gotten new frames in years. It's a thought.

I have recently started looking online. Frames is one of the few things I had never considered buying online. One of the places here suggested that I look online and they would put the lens in for me. It was the only place that said they would do that. Of course, online is just a bit overwhelming. I had to measure my present frames and it's been difficult to find the right measurements for everything. The eye, the bridge, the width or temple, lens width and height ... I had no idea. I think what I'm going to do is buy a pair from this store here and then ask them to educate me on what, exactly to look for online.

That is amazing service, it sounds like the owner really cared.

I wear glasses too, but I hadn't realized it could be so hard to find the right frames. I hope you can find what you need!

I didn't realize how hard it would be either. It became harder when I started needing bifocals. They simply had to fit. I found some today, though, and I'm going to post about it as soon as I get my thoughts together. :-)
