The Call of Cthulhu movie was so freakin AWESOME. They had a rediculously low budget, but the silent movie they made was spot on. They just put what was in the story directly to a silent movie and it was actually GOOD. I especially like the little things, like the city of strange angles at the end where the sailors that awaken Cthulhu try to

Project Cloverfield is rumored to be J. J. Abrams take on Cthulu. So far I really want to see it.

Unless they pull a Sin City and put text directly to screen it won't do it justice. Thats why I liked this movie even though it was a silent film. Check it out sometime if you like the short story.
