First, you need to fix a date, nothing much you can do till you have a fixed date cos filing for marriage can only be done earliest 3 months from the date you want to get registered.
Next, you can decide whether you want a outdoor solemnisation or do the solemnisation at ROM at Fort Canning. If you want to hold a reception outside of ROM, you have to look for a JP (Justice of peace) to officiate your solemnisation (there's a whole list of JP in ROM's website).
There's nice little function rooms at the ROM that you can use and a outdoor garden at ROM that can be used for solemnisation.
Closer to your date (about 1 week if I rem correctly), you will be asked to go down to collect your certificates for the solemnisation.
Congrats. So happy for you. Yup, I think I_Believe had shared the process quite well.
Next is to get your wedding bands and your gown ready for your lovely ROM. Do factor 2-3 mths for the respective parties to make your bands and your gown.
Also you can start looking for photographers/videographers once your date is firmed.
