All of it was genius! ^^ I love the way you write both character's you put their characters across even in ways I can barely comprehend and still leave me wanting so much more.

You're a master at riccocheting between laugh-out-loud funny and poignant emotion, and this fic is a perfect example of that. This is a perfect voice for Tonks-the-Marauder, with the sharp black (Black?) humor and the flashes of honesty.

I don’t know what possesses them to both try to stand in the same doorway at once, but they always seem to manage it.

The spot still tingled, like being hit with a Cheering Charm that smelled slightly of gin and hadn’t shaved in a day or two.

I don't think that line could be any more awesome if it tried on its own...

I'm a horrible procrastinator and therefore horrible, horrible about reviewing fic. But since I read this about a month ago, and the xkcd strip concerning guard-fondling about one minute ago, I can see that a squeeing review is meant to happen.

I think that I remembered that line a month later tells you about how awesome this fic is, how brilliantly it inscribed itself into my mind. (I am also convinced that Paying Attention must be in the Auror training curriculum now.) Absolutely love these three messing with each other. Completely love this and, if I had your address, would probably send you flowers for writing it.
