Yesterday, we washed our dogs, and since they smelled so lovely, they got to sleep in bed last night

it sounds to me like one, or both of the cats are being mean to zelda. possibly because you let her into the bed. cats are such dicks sometimes! i'd quarantine the cats in seperate rooms, and "let them think about what they've done". you'll probably have to get zelda a new bed. poor pup! it's not like a dog to be scared unless they're being bullied hardcore. how large of a dog is zelda?

She's about 40 lbs. I washed her bed last night, and I think it will recover. The cat poos were easy to remove. It's weird because Zelda is usually dominant, but I think Farley finally put her in her place.

are your animals close? Maybe your cat is sick, and your dog is reacting to her sickness? Maybe he is trying to tell you something about your cat? Are you sure its cat pee?

I'm 100% sure it's cat pee. There's nothing that smells like it. Our animals are close, and they haven't been playing in the last day. I'm not sure if they had a fight, or if Zelda's sick.

BIZARRE! Did the cat's food get recalled? There is at least one cat food brand that is being recalled-- Hill's Prescription m/d feline dry.

I don't know what to tell you, except I agree that separating them is the best thing for now. And Zelda will need a new bed. You also might need a new coat.

I know. Farley peed on a coat of mine in A-town, and it was never the same. It's my favorite coat, too. My only raincoat. And when you live in Oregon...
We locked Zelda in her kennel last night, and she slept through the night. And we're taking her to the vet today as well. I don't think the cat food has been recalled (yet).
