So I'm reading Matelots (first time read around) and I have come to the conclusion that Gaston+Puppies=illogical Cute

I've just finished "Matelots" and I wish it was more than "only" 600 pages;) I am delighted!!! I could read about them all the time:) I agree Gaston+puppies are absolutely cute:D But I simply adore Pete (and the picture of him and puppies - awww;)).
There were times I wanted to hit Striker and make him apologize to Pete *sigh*

I'm still in the beginning of it. But if find it very interesting that Gaston wants kids and Will is all "O.O whut?" I seriously got a kick out of that

Gaston+puppies=love. It's true. I'm about halfway through Matelots (my frist time through as well) and I'm really hoping we get kids eventually...just to see what happens to Gaston's madness because of them...(those of you who've read through Treasure already, don't say anything!!)

OMG Gaston and puppies and kiddies is just the sweetest thing. Gaston makes me smile. He's like a burnt marshmellow, all manly on the outside and a total pushover on the inside.

And def. you need to get Treasure. It just gets better and better. I hope the next book gets released early, as it is so hard to wait!

It totally blows me away that Gaston wants kids, seriously it it kinda felt a little random.

I'm I the only one that thinks Agnes needs to hook up with Christine?

You're not the only one:) The point is that Agnes do not favor women (or I think so). But, they say, for women is a matter of choice:)

Although it does put a kink in things, I think it really makes Gaston more likeable for me (although I like him so much already). Altho he starts out in the books really not liking people much (for good reason), with Will his true personality comes out and he really has a big heart.

Just wait till you read the Treasure.

I really like Agnes alot.

I like Gaston<3Puppies! It's illogical as much as logical, really. Who can predict stuff like that? Besides, Pete<3Puppies, too! Maybe it's 50/50 for buccaneers?

Weirder would be if they loved kitties....

(Somehow that's way cool for me! Guys and cats!)

And remember, those puppies are big puppies and will grow to big, tough, macho doggies! Seems quite natural if you think of it that way! ~___^

Gaston loveing babies is odder, but same thing applies. Why not? And Will remains mostly immune, to balance it all out.

MATELOTS is my favorite of the books so far. Just so love that book!

= illogical cute!! LMAO! I love it. I totally forwarded this comment to Wynette. Whenever I see something that I think she'll get a kick out of on the Yahoo group, or now, this one (hello! just joined LJ) I send it her way. Just so ya'll know. Herself sees. LOL. :D

I'm picturing "illogical cute" as something akin to a D&D thing: instead of "chaotic good/neutral/evil" the choice will be "illogical cute." *giggle* Anime geeks everywhere will transmogrify into D&D geeks if they can play something illogically cute!! :)

Illogical cute would be a blink dog with a big pretty bow on him. Or baby owl-bears.
